MassCommute Bicycle Challenge 2016

Welcome to the 2016 MassCommute Bicycle Challenge! The Challenge this year will be held May 14-22, with the Bike Bash tentatively scheduled for June 1.

All during February, you can (and should!) submit photos to the #WinterBiker Photo Contest for extra raffle tickets for the Bike Bash.

We’ll have more information posted here shortly! For now, here is information from last year’s challenge.


Thank you for participating in the 2015 MassCommute Bicycle Challenge!

The MCBC promotes cycling as a healthy, inexpensive, and eco-friendly form of transportation. Joining the Challenge is fun, easy and FREE for anyone who lives or works in Massachusetts! Log all of the miles you ride during Bay State Bike Week and enjoy some friendly competition between local businesses, universities and communities. We had a great Challenge this year, and we hope to see you back in 2016!

Massachusetts residents and employees rode a grand total of 146,001 Miles during the challenge week, breaking last year’s record!

Feel free to use the logging function on the website to track your miles throughout the summer! Keep in mind that the Leaderboard may no longer reflect official MCBC results.
