MassCommute Bicycle Challenge 2016

The 2016 MassCommute Bicycle Challenge was a success- THANK YOU MASSACHUSETTS CYCLISTS! In just 9 days (May 14-22), we collectively rode 156,285 miles, saving over $15,479.26 in gas  and 145,862.26 lbs of C02.  Thank you to the 2,490 individuals from 172 companies & 74 universities in 192 zip codes who accepted the Challenge and congratulations to this year’s winning teams & individuals!

The MCBC is an annual event held in coordination with Bay State Bike Week that promotes cycling as a healthy, inexpensive, and eco-friendly transportation choice. Joining the Challenge is fun, easy and FREE for anyone who lives or works in Massachusetts! Log all of the miles you ride throughout the week and enjoy some friendly competition between local businesses, universities and communities.
